Employment Experience
The fifteen month residency at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival serves
as an internship for the program. Students may elect to join The Actor's
Equity Association Membership Candidate Program with both an M.F.A and
points toward union membership.
Program Requirements
- Stage Management (6 hours)
- The Directing Process (6 hours)*
- Graduate Theatre Practicum (2 hours)
- Technical Production (6 hours)*
- Alabama Shakespeare Festival (40 hours)

Degree Requirements
A total of 60 semester hours is required for the degree. These hours
must be completed consecutively for a total time in enrollment of two
calendar years. Summers are included in the program and are not optional.
